There's something in the way Dick rolls his shoulders, it reminded Tim of when Cisco stretched after doing a half-hearted warning swat because you were too close for too long. Each word rattled around his head, mingling with his classmate's from earlier today. And when he slowed down and actually let himself pay attention, like his therapist was constantly telling him to do, he noticed a few things. One hand hadn't left his pocket because his fist was clenched tight. There was a fluttering in his chest. He could feel all too familiar pinpricks on the back of his neck where sharp fangs had once sank in and then piloted him around.

"Oh..." He said aloud after several minutes. "...guess I know what my next session is gonna be about."

Because moments like this had been happening a lot since he started talking through things with a therapist. Things he could normally squash down and ignore became very physical problems; Tim just wasn't the type to lash out and argue then and there. No. He would seek validation from people, often not realising that they probably weren't the best person to go to in that moment. In this case, Dick was incredibly busy.

Did he even check if Dick had the time or brain power to handle this kind of conversation?

"Sorry." He mumbled. "Do you... want some coffee? Or space?"
